Schedule for “Warriors Path to the Queens Heart”

7:00 AM – Site Set Up – Thank you for coming out to help!

8:00 AM – Site Opens to Public

9:00 Armor Inspection – Rapier and Heavy

9:30 – Call to Arms – Instead of Processing, Heralds will announce the Fighters for Defenders of the Queens Heart Tournament, and Fighters will present themselves and their Consorts to the Queen

The Herald Announcement will also be part of our Bardic Championship.  If you are not Heralding, that’s ok! Just find their Excellencies Marcaster and recite a poem relating to Fighting to be entered as well! Bring ALL of your Heraldry to adorn the field!

10:00 am – Defender of the Queens Heart

   If you get knocked out of the Defender’s Tournament, you can participate in the Knock-Out tournament

12:00 – Break for Fundraiser Lunch

1:00 – Cut & Thrust  – For you Heavy Fighters out there, this ones just for you! First Blood: One warning about the edge of the world if you step out, afterwards you lose the fight. Double kills are just that – resulting in no points awarded. If there is a tie for points, Her Majesty chooses how to resolve it

2:00- Champion of Marcaster – Come Fight for the Honor of being the Champion of Marcaster after spinning the “WHEEL OF DEATH”

3:00 PM – Knockout Tournament/ Mermaids Grotto – These will be fought simultaneously for the Title of Defender of Mermaids Grotto.  There will be two tournament prizes! Bearpit tournament for those who have been eliminated from the Queens Heart tournament.

4:00 – Youth Tournament

4:30 – Court Business

5:00 Court

6:00 Cookie Social – come enjoy cookies of all flavors as well as hot(or cold) coffee, tea and other warm beverages. - BRING COOKIES TO SHARE!!

TORCHLIGHT TOURNEY! – Come fight to become the Defender of the Caravan!

During the day, there will be a Largess Derby.  The winner will become the Art/Sci Champion of Marcaster

There will be a few field side classes being held as well.  How to don your armor, Defensive Stances and Offensive stances, among others! Come join our Knights and teachers for some basic understanding of training to fight.
